Cultural collaboration an important component of Australia India business linkages

A seven member senior heritage delegation from AusHeritage is in India as part of the Australia Business Week in India. In partnership with AusTrade, AusHeritage members are interacting with Indian heritage peak bodies in Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur from January 12-16, 2015.

Malaysian Interpretation Projects – 20 Nov 2014

AusHeritage member SHP (Sue Hodges Productions Pty Ltd) has been working on a number of projects in Malaysia since 2012. This followed a successful visit to SHP’s Melbourne offices in 2011 by Agnes James of Think City, the investment arm of the Malaysian Federal Government. This meeting was at the initiative of AusHeritage and has since led to a number of high-profile jobs in Malaysia and India.

40th Anniversary of the ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Partnership Exhibition – 4 Aug 2014

On August 4, Southeast Asian Art and Culture was launched in the ACT Legislative Assembly Building in Canberra. The event was attended by representatives from the ten ASEAN diplomatic missions in Canberra as well as from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the ACT Government and AusHeritage Ltd. Various Canberra based diplomats, scholars and people with connections to ASEAN were at the opening.

AusHeritage Members present lectures in Taipai – 19 June 2014

On the evening of June 19, 2014 over fifty people came to the Institute for Historical Resources Management Centre in the historic DaDaocheng District of Taipei City to hear from two AusHeritage members, Helen Lochhead and Bruce Pettman from the NSW Government Architect’s Office who presented lectures on Australian experiences related to development control plans (DCPs) and heritage impact assessments (HIAs).
