On Thursday afternoon 19 June Austrade and the Australian Office in Taipei hosted a seminar on Australian Heritage Conservation in Taiwan. The event was held in the Office’s auditorium at the President International Tower.
Mr Vinod Daniel, Chair, AusHeritage delivered the 6th Lecture of the National Museum of India Lecture Series. The lecture titled “Indian Museum becoming more Relevant” was held at the National Museum Auditorium on Monday, 30th June 2014.

Joint Forum with Indian Museum, JC Bose Memorial Trust
AusHeritage, Australia’s international network for cultural heritage, and the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) today signed an MoU in Kolkata to further enhance cooperation in the preservation, promotion and management of cultural heritage.
A second Australian art gallery has removed a centuries-old statue from display after a written request from the Indian government to return the artefact. This was after allegations that the statue was stolen from an ancient site in India and sold by an Indian art dealer on trial in Chennai for smuggling antiquities.
The International Convention of Asia Scholars (ICAS) is the premier international gathering in the field of Asian Studies. It attracts participants from over 60 countries to engage in global dialogues on Asia that transcend boundaries between academic disciplines and geographic areas. Since 1997, ICAS has brought more than 17,000 academics together at eight conventions.

At the annual International seminar of RIPE GLOBAL opened by the Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu Dr K. Rosaiah on February 28, 2014 in Chennai, The ASTRA (Association of Soft Skills Trainers) Service Excellence Award 2014 was awarded to AusHeritage Chairman and India Vision Institute CEO Mr Vinod Daniel for sustainable contribution to the field of Human Resource Development and Human Resource Management relating to his work on “ Cultural Heritage and Blindness Prevention”.
