The National Council of Museums Australia have announced that Ms Alexandra Marsden, a Board Member of AusHeritage, is to be the organisation’s new National Director from March 2015. This follows Bernice Murphy’s nine years leadership of the organisation.

Asked about how she would approach the new position, Ms Marsden said “I’m a collaborator, always open to new ideas and ways of doing things, and very much looking forward to meeting and working with our members and everyone who values and supports the development of Australia’s cultural life.”
