AusHeritage Chair Vinod Daniel chaired a two day strategic planning meeting (25-26 October, 2015) at the new Grand Egyptian Museum (scheduled to open in 2018) in Giza, Egypt.

The meeting was on behalf of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and included all senior staff of the museum including their Director General Dr Tarek Tawfik.
