Conservation, refurbishment and adaptive reuse of Africa Hall, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia requires the preserving, and restoring the historical and cultural values of the heritage building whilst achieving a modern conference facility opening up the place as a major tourist attraction with exhibition and museum space.

Conservation works included the upgrading of old furniture and fixtures, new services upgrade including conference support installations, electro mechanical systems, safety features and disability access.

Principal consultancy role with works including measured drawings, condition report, CMP, Colour Study, consultant co-ordination, documentation / specification and construction support, detailed technical design, detailed Cost Plan Estimate, detailed Project Implementation Schedule for funding approval by the United Nations.
