In February, Lovell Chen senior associate and AusHeritage Treasurer Adam Mornement ran a two day workshop on the preparation of conservation management plans for the Yangon City Development Committee, in the former Myanmar capital. The workshop was part of a capacity building exercise funded by the European Union. It was attended by staff of the Urban Planning Division of YCDC, as well as members of the Association of Myanmar Architects and the Yangon Heritage Trust (YHT).
Adam was invited to run the workshop by the YHT a non government organisation dedicated to the promotion of Yangon’s nineteenth century colonial heritage.
